Shred Your Thoughts. And other cubicle wisdom.

Shred Your Thoughts

Shred your thoughts…

Yesterday I had a massive shredding project at the office. I loaded piles and piles of old documents into the tiny ShredMaster and watched years of important reports become essentially nothing but the paper they were printed on. The repetitive movement and white noise of the machine whirring led me into a mindless quiet I welcomed. Thought arose organically without strain…

Let go of needing to know more than you do.

Release the desire to be anywhere else than here.

Let be what is without judgment.

Relax and give in to the ride.

Without the struggling you may not only get elsewhere faster but actually enjoy the journey of where you’re going.

Who says desk jobs aren’t spiritual?
